PURPOSE:To equalize the sharing load of front and rear wheels, by detecting a car speed variation, and on the basis of the detected value, making the damping force of a suspension so as to adjust it in a direction of reducing the car attitude variations, in case of a vehicle supporting its body with both suspensions for front and rear wheels. CONSTITUTION:Acceleration and deceleration beyond the specified speed during running are detected by a pendulum type speed variation detector 16, varying the hydraulic pressure required. That is to say, when deceleration happens, the hydraulic pressure produced inside the speed variation detector 16 is fed to the inside of a cylinder chamber of a damping force adjuster 17 of a front oleofork 9 via an oil pipe 21, throttling a hole valve of the adjuster 17 and making the damping force at the compression side larger, and simultaneously fed to a cylinder of a damping force adjuster 18 as well whereby the damping force at the extension side is made to increase. In time of acceleration, a pendulum inside the detector 16 operates reversely, having the damping force of each of damping force adjusters 17 and 18 adjusted in a reverse direction. With this, the sharing load of front and rear wheels are almost equalized. |
