A holding plate for thermoforming in cladding panels, having a retaining part which has a retaining opening for a clip, a bracket, a strap and the like, having two connecting webs on opposite sides of the retaining part which are bent away approximately at right angles and, with the retaining part, form a retaining chamber, and having attachment limbs on the connecting webs which are bent away approximately at right angles, point away from one another and support cramps which point away from the retaining part and are directed in an inclined manner with respect to the plane of the attachment limbs, and having a covering plate for the retaining chambers. The technical problem of the invention is to avoid these difficulties during assembly and to construct a holding plate which can be produced in a single production process without assembly and feeding problems. The covering plate (11) is constructed integrally and is folded over on one side of the retaining part (2) between the connecting webs (4). The covering plate (11) is aligned with the attachment lens (5). The covering plate (11) rests on the inner edges (12) of the attachment limbs (5). Internally located cramps (8) of the attachment limbs (5) surround the respectively adjacent edge of the covering plate (5) at least partially, in order that the latter is fixed in a positively-locking manner. <IMAGE>
