PURPOSE:To obtain a heat sensitive recording material having high sensitivity without scum adhesion to thermal head and efficient in stability during storage, by making hydroxyisophthalate as developer together with leuco dye be contained into a coloring layer. CONSTITUTION:A coating fluid is prepared by dispersing and pulvelizing leuco dye (example: 3-diethylamino-6-methyl-7-anylinofuloran and the like) and compound (example: 3-hydroxyisophthalate diethylester and the like) (favorably, 1- 10wt. times to leuco dye) of the formula (R1 and R2 mean H and C1-3 alkyl) as developer with a boll-mill and the like making water dispersion medium. The aimed recording material is obtained by adding 10-30wt% (to all solid content) binder such as PVA and the like, dispersion agent, ultraviolet rays absorbent, etc. When necessary and by favorably coating them by 3-10g/m<2> (dry weight) on a support such as paper and the like. |
