GUIDE MECHANISM FOR TAKING OUT SMALL, HIGHLY ACCURATE, HIGH STROKE CONVERSION OR SMALL, MULTI-MOTION STROKE THROUGH DEFORMED CYLINDRICAL ROLL

PURPOSE:To achieve small size and high accuracy while to take out high motion ratio by employing a deformed cylindrical roll as a guide. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical roll 1 is formed with a female thread on center line fitting with pitch guide fixed thread 2 to be rotatble on the axis of bearing 3 and movable to the left and right. A warm gear 4 is passed in a spline groove to the right end of said roll 1. Said roll 1 can be moved to the left and right without moving the warm gear 4 and can rotate only through rotation of the warm gear 4. Said roll 1 will move to the left or right by single pitch of said thread 2 for every rotation of said roll 1. A feed extract chip 5 will contact through a spring 6 with said roller. Upon rotation of a caterpillar gear 7, said roller 1 will move slightly to the left or right.
