A flat electrical measuring cable, whose conductors (1) are connected in an electrically conductive manner to a plurality of electrical components (8) which are arranged at intervals over the length of the cable in an insulating layer (3). In order to keep the cable small and flexible, recesses (6) are arranged in the insulating layer (3). Flat electrical components (8) are connected to the conductors (1) in the recesses (6) and, around the components (8), the recesses (6) are filled with a permanently-elastic insulation (19).
