摘要 For the purpose of determining the ignition angle as a function of the engine speed, radiation or a magnetic field is influenced by a rotating, ignition angle-programmed component as a function of the engine speed in such a way that the greater the increase in the engine speed, the earlier is the point at which the speed of change of radiation or a magnetic field reaches a predetermined threshold value. The threshold signal is therefore moved in the direction of the ignition advance in the case of an increasing engine speed. The signal which triggers the ignition process is acquired from the threshold signal and thus the higher the engine speed the earlier the system ignites. The simplicity permits the arrangement to be used even with small and single-cylinder engines without an inadmissible increase in the constructional outlay and in the servicing outlay, but fulfils all previously known requirements relating to the ignition angle adjustment. Here, it is to be stressed in particular that additional signals for influencing the ignition angle can be input into the system in an extremely simple manner by moving the abovementioned threshold value. Furthermore, the use of the principle of the invention for multicylinder engines is described, by which means ways for significantly improving the operational reliability and for drastically reducing radio interference from the ignition system can be obtained. The replacement of a single ignition spark with a relatively long spark duration by a number of sparks which make up the desired spark duration and with a correspondingly smaller amount of energy per spark is explained.
