PURPOSE:To prevent the effect of error in the inspection by detecting changes in the peak value of a received wave signal to perform a judgement based on the peak being detected. CONSTITUTION:A received wave signal is amplified with an amplifier 6 to give an amplified signal P, which is detected with a comparator circuit 7 to be fed to a measuring circuit 8. On the other hand, the amplifier 6 is connected to a peak holding circuit 21 so that the peak value of the amplified signal P is held and outputted into a peak value detection circuit 23 within a judging circuit 22. The detection circuit 23 converts the peak value in each measurement into a digital signal, which is outputted into a decision device 24 to determine whether it is within the preset range. When it is within the preset range, a signal of normalcy is outputted to a measuring circuit 8 while when it is outside the range, a signal of abnormality is outputted. Thus, the detection of an abnormal value can be done appropriately thereby preventing the effect of error in the inspection. |
