PURPOSE:To generate photoelectric conversion outputs each for measuring a distance almost equal in levels thereof without receiving the influence of a distance, by changing the bias current of each photoelectric conversion output for measuring a distance corresponding to an objective distance. CONSTITUTION:A bias current corresponding to a distance is applied to the output sides of photoelectric conversion elements PD1, PD2 each for measuring a distance through respective load diodes D3-D5, D3'-D5' and a photoelectric conversion current due to circumferential light is not applied to an operation amplifier gm for temp. dependent compensation. In this case, photoelectric output for measuring a distance free from level variation based on the distance due to the difference of the conversion currents outputted by the elements PD1, PD2 due to the light reception of the reflected pulse light from an object and the bias currents applied to both elements PD1, PD2 is generated and the distance from the object such as a subject is measured without generating a distance measuring error. |
