PURPOSE:To allow an operator on the transmission side to grasp the transmitting status by providing a means detecting the receiving status of a facsimile signal on the transmitter side. CONSTITUTION:A facsimile signal 1a to be transmitted is sent to an unshown in figure receiving device through a modulator 1, a hydrid circuit 2 and a network controlling device 3. A receiving device forms an FSK modulation signal in accordance with the correctness/incorrectness of receiving status, and returns the signal to the transmitter side through the network controlling device 3. On the other hand, the transmitter side inputs the FSK signal to a band pass filter 6 through the hybrid circuit 2 and guides the signal to an FSK demodulator 15 through an amplifier 7, a band pass filter 8, etc. The FSK demodulator 15 demodulates the input signal to a signal corresponding to the receiving status of said facsimile receiving device and sends the demodulated signal to a control circuit 18. Consequently, a display circuit 19 displays the correctness/incorrectness of the receiving status. |
