PURPOSE:To facilitate the automatic loading of a magnetic tape and furthermore to miniaturize the structure of a magnetic recording/reproducing device of a helical scan system in response to the reduction of diameter of a guide drum, by providing oblique poles at both inlet and outlet sides of the guide drum to guide the magnetic tape. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic tape 4 is pulled out by a feed reel 5 and changed its traveling direction by about 90 deg. with touch to a tension pole 11, a guide pole 12, a full-width erasion head 13, an impedance roll 14 and a guide roller 15 respectively. Furthermore the tape 4 has a spiral touch between guide poles 16 and 17 with about 270 deg. secured to the circumference surface of a guide drum 2. A video head is turned about 270 deg. to form a track on the tape 4 while the tape 4 travels with a touch to the drum 2. Thus a video signal is recorded and reproduced. Then the tape 4 is changed about 180 deg. for its traveling direction a guide roller 18 and held between a pinch roller 23 and a capstan 10 to be driven. Then the tape 4 goes into a miniature tape cassette 3 and is taken up by a take-up reel 6. |
