PURPOSE:To increase freely the record information regardless of the surface area of an optical disk by forming the optical disk with the reflecting liquid crystal with a multi-layer of the liquid crystal. CONSTITUTION:The laser light A usually travels straight since each of three liquid crystal layers has no deflecting function and returned after reflected on the surface of a reflecting plate 11. Then the voltage is applied between a common terminal 3 and a selection terminal 4a, and therefore a liquid crystal material 8 put between a selection electrode 7a and a common electrode 6a has a deflecting function. This prevent the pass of the light A, and the presence or absence of the electrode 7a is read out in the form of information. Then the voltage is applied between the terminals 3 and a selection terminal 4b, and therefore a selection electrode 7b is read out in the form of information. As a result, the information triple as much as that written on the surface of an optical disk can be recorded as a whole. |
