MAGNETIC HEAD DEVICE

PURPOSE:To facilitate an easy connection between a coil of a lower head and a lead wire for a double-sided flexible disk device by attaching the lower head and a head cover for smooth guide of the disk independently of each other. CONSTITUTION:A gimbal spring 11 is attached to a carriage 5 to clog the through-hole 12 of the carriage 5. A lower head 3 is attached at the center part A of the spring 11. The part A is supported by a support bar B at four areas and can move vertically to the surface of a disk 1. Furthermore a magnetic head cover 13 is attached to the carriage 5 so as to cover the circumference of the head 3. The cover 13 is set outside the spring 11. In addition, the cover 13 has a surface for the tip of the disk 1 when the disk 1 is inserted to a disk device. The head 3 is assembled in order by attaching the spring 11 fixed with the head 3 to the carriage 5 and the cover 13 to the carriage 5.
