PURPOSE:To prevent an input to an element section and the malfunction of a light-emitting element drive circuit by mounting the light-emitting element drive circuit onto a substrate surface on the side reverse to a substrate surface on which the light-emitting element is mounted. CONSTITUTION:A light-emitting element 1 outputs beams 3 having an information by a light-emitting element drive circuit 2. Beams having the information are inputted to an optical fiber 4, and the optical fiber transmits the information. The light-emitting element 1, the light-emitting element drive circuit 2 and one part of the optical fiber 4 are sealed with a package 5. Beams outputted from the light-emitting element 1 are not inputted to the optical fiber 4 at 100%, and one part of them leaks in the package 5. However, the light-emitting element drive circuit 2 is mounted onto a substrate surface 6, through which beams are not passed, on the side reverse to the light-emitting element. Accordingly, leakage beams are not inputted, thus preventing the malfunction of the drive circuit 2. |
