Stackable box which, in the stacked state, allows the passage of air through the upper side and lower side of the box, which box is made from an essentially rectangular sheet 1 of board or plastic material. Two opposite side walls 32, 33 in the box each have a flap 34, 35, which flaps rest against the upper edge 2, 3 of the remaining side walls 26, 27 to form spacing means between said edges and the bottom of a further such box 38 stacked on top of the box 37. The bottom wall 10 of the box has a number of ventilation openings 25. An opening 44 between the spacing means 34, 35 and also the ventilation openings 25 make possible circulation of air through the interior of the box. Said flaps 34, 35 each have further flaps 36, 37 and, respectively, 38, 39 which are fixed to the outside of said remaining side walls 26, 27 to form spacing means between said remaining side walls 26, 27 and any object, such as e.g. a further such box, located next to the box. The flaps 34-39 can be held in place by tape, gluing or the like or simply by a removable band 40a, e.g. made of rubber, it being possible in the latter case for the box to be folded back rapidly and easily into the original plane state formed by the rectangular sheet 1 by removal of the band. <IMAGE> |
