<p>PURPOSE:To realize a necessary and sufficient protection of an IC card by a simple circuit, by detecting a signal which has been interlocked with a cover for the IC card, and thereafter, executing a necessary protection processing. CONSTITUTION:An IC card store part 3 has a contact part for an IC card interface, stores an IC card 1, and also is fixed by an IC card use cover 2. In case when it has become necessary to read out and write a data of the IC card 1, a CPU10 confirms a fact that the IC card use cover 2 has been closed, by an IC card use over opening/closing detecting circuit 6 and an interruption controller 7, and thereafter, operates an IC card power source supplying circuit 5 through a general use output port 8. An excess current detecting circuit 4 detects an excess current, in case when a current exceeding a prescribed current has flowed to the IC card due to generation of a wrong contact or a short-circuited state in an IC card interface use contact part, and stops a power source supply by controlling the power source supplying circuit 5 of the IC card 1.</p> |
