PURPOSE:To obtain a titled compsn. superior in storage stability, high in sensitivity, free of background stains during printing, and useful for manufacture of a lithographic plate by incorporating a specified photosensitive diazo polymer compd. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive compsn. is obtained by incorporating 50- 99.5wt% oleophilic binder, such as polyamide, 0.5-10wt% dye, such as acridine dye, plasticizer, a fat sensitive agent, etc. in the photosensitive high mol.wt. diazo compd. represented by the shown formula (R1, R2 are H, methyl, methoxy, or ethoxy; R3 is 1-5C lower alkyl or 1-4C lower alkoxy or H; X is an anion; R is H, methyl, or phenyl; and n is 1-200). This photosensitive compsn. is dissolved in a solvent, such as methyl cellosolve to prepare a photosensitive soln. of 1-50wt% concn., and a support is coated with this soln. to 0.2-19g/m<2> coating amt., and dried. |
