<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the titled metal tube without resin peeling dispensing a joint member by a method wherein a metal tube is supplied to a cross head die continuously at a fixed interval and a part only comprising a synthetic resin section is cut off between two sequential metal tubes after the resin coating. CONSTITUTION:A metal tube A such as steel pipe is pickled with a pickling device 1 on the circumferential surface thereof and coated with an adhesive by an adhesive coater 2. After dried with a dryer 3, it is fed to a cross head die 8 provided adhead with a feeder 4 passing through a preheater 6 and a melted synthetic resin is supplied from an extruder 7 to form a coat layer B on the circumferential surface of the metal tube A passing. Then, the coat layer is hardened and stabilized passing through a shaper 9 and a cooler 10 and introduced to an automatic detector 12 and an automatic cutter 13. Here, as the preceding metal tube passes through said cross head die 8, the feeding of the subsequent metal tube is stopped temporarily with a brake 5 to form a synthetic resin tube only between both the metal tubes. This section is detected and cut off to obtain the intended metal tube.</p> |
