<p>PURPOSE:To improve quality by calculating the required rate of water spraying for a slab in accordance with the predicted speed basing on an accleration pattern and controlling the same by anticipating the time for the response delay of a bank thereby decreasing unven temp. and enabling fine temp. control. CONSTITUTION:The flow rate of water spraying from each water spraying bank 3 is detected with a flowmeter 17 and is inputted to a detector 18 for the rate of water spraying. The output of the detector 18 and the output of a command device 15 for starting water spraying bank are conducted to a detector 19 for the response delay of bank which calculates the time for response delay of each water spraying bank from the command signal for water spraying and the time for starting or stopping the actual water spraying and inputs the result thereof to an arithmetic device 14 for determining the opening or closing of the bank. The device 14 determines the opening or closing of the actual water sparaying bank from the time for the response delay of the bank determined in a real time in accordance with a water spraying pattern, the time when a slab passes the bank and the output of the device 19 and outputs an opening or closing command to the device 15.</p> |
