PURPOSE:To perform efficiently error processing by storing a processing procedure for every kind of error, and processing selected by an external switch when an error occurs. CONSTITUTION:Error processing for a CRC error of a page control packet, packet absence, humming code error, etc., is selected with a selection switch 7. Error checks are made in said order; when no error is found, data of the packet is decoded and then stored in a picture display memory 9 to display characters, graphs, etc., or control the display through a picture display controller 10. If an error is found, the stop of screen display or screen display programmed in an error processing program ROM 4, 5, or 6 is performed according to the contents of a register corresponding to an error processing selection switch SW1, SW2, or SW3. The next packet is read out of a buffer memory 1 to an MPU2 except when the screen display is stopped to repeat error processing. |
