PURPOSE:To provide a feasible paper supply device with high reliability by releasing the inhibition of paper supply-transfer operation to a transfer section with a connection detecting output of a connection detecting means of a paper processing device and the paper supply device. CONSTITUTION:When blanks are set on a receiving bed in a large volume blank receiving section 1 and a cover 85 is closed, a door switch 852 is closed to make a lifter motor for the receiving bed drivable. Next when a paper supply device A is coupled with a recorder body B, a joint switch 803 is operated so that by a signal of said switch a control unit of CPU drives the lifter motor to lift the uppermost blank on the receiving bed until a UP level sensor 809 is operated. And when blanks are not found in paper sensors 806, 807, a transfer roller is driven to carry out a predetermined transfer. Thus, when a processing unit and the paper supply device are not interconnected, the paper supply is inhibited to provide paper supply performance with high reliability. |
