PURPOSE:To transfer control information efficiently between a time-division switch and a processor which controls the switch without requiring many channels for control information transmission, by adding a simple circuit device to the time-division switch. CONSTITUTION:A multiplexer 101 converts a digital signal on a highway, channel by channel, into a serial signal, which is stored in a speech path memory 102 by one frame successively. The writing operation in the memory 102 is controlled by a counter 115 and a control memory 106 which is connected to a microprocessor 400. The output of the memory 102 is selected by a switch 116, converted by a multiplexer 103 from parallel to serial, and outputted to the highway. This circuit is provided with buffer input/output control circuits 200 and 300 to control an input buffer 105 and an output buffer 108 by the outputs of the circuits 200 and 300. Then, control information is transferred between the processor 400 and switch 116 efficiently. |
