The invention concerns an immediately usable metal type of fixing for glasswool panels. It is constituted by a length of about 32 cm of galvanised iron wire of 0 2.7 mm 4 which is formed by folding. It is rendered rigidly fixed to the supporting wall 5 by two blued steel points 3. When the insulating panel 2 has been impaled on three of these fixing devices, a washer 1 is placed on the portion of each fixing device which extends beyond the panel, and is then curved at 90 DEG . This type of fixing ensures a good holding of insulating panels, with a rapid installation not needing any preparation or time before use; resistance to load and to fire are also two strong points of this invention. <IMAGE>
