The invention relates to a percussion mechanism for an automatic repeating pistol comprising a cocking lever placed in front of the grip to allow compression of the pawl spring. The mechanism comprises a cocking lever 1 coupled to a moving part 2 by a pin 3 engaged in the groove 4 of the cocking lever which comprises a return spring 5, the moving part is coupled by a spindle 6 to the cylinder 7 containing the push rod 8 on which is machined the cocking notch 9, the upper part of the moving part being in the shape of a hook bears on the pawl pin 10 and retains the latter in the rear position. <IMAGE>
