<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the need of breaking processing and abnormality recovery control by connecting a switch element in parallel to an overrun detecting element of a movable member to invalidate overrun detection other than the specified direction movement of the movable member. CONSTITUTION:When the uppermost paper level is lowered by feeding paper, a motor 853 is driven to raise the level. if an overrun occurs due to malfunction, a limit switch 854 is operated to turn off the power source of the motor 853, and a difference in potential caused at both poles of the switch is informed as an abnormal rising signal to CPU through a diode bridge 887. When it amounts to a predetermined number of times, the operation is stopped. A diode 886 is connected in parallel to the switch 854, so that during rising, there is a difference in potential of +24V, and during lowering there is little difference in potential. Accordingly, even if malfunction of the switch is caused, the diode bridge 887 is still off. When a brake signal is output to the motor 853, the same operation is conducted.</p> |
