Device for the rapid evacuation of smoke and heat, for buildings such as, especially, industrial sites or public buildings, comprising a hatchway curb or hopper upon which there rests a movable framework mounted on lift-off hinges, characterised in that it comprises an opening mechanism comprising an arm with differential travel 18 articulated at one of its ends to a fixed pin 22, and, at its other end, to a carriage 26 translationally guided in a cross-member 28 of the movable frame 12, and a motorised member 20 with constant force, the assembly being designed in such a manner as to obtain a graduated force during opening, this force being considerable at the beginning of opening, and small at the end of opening. <IMAGE> |
