The invention relates to a tool that may be adapted to any support undergoing translational movement, of the motor-powered rotary brush type with injection of a cleaning liquid. According to the essential characteristics, the tool is fitted with a hydraulic motor 3 having a high-pressure fluid circuit 4, 5 independent of the system of circulation of the cleaning liquid and the brush 10 driven by the shaft 7 of the motor on its support 9 works in an enclosed chamber formed by a housing or skirt 11 which is held tightly against the surface to be cleaned by sealed joints 12 and from which the contaminated liquid effluents are evacuated 14, 15 permanently during the cleaning process; the cleaning liquid feed circuit 18, 19, 21 is independent of the hydraulic motor operating system.
