The invention relates to a device for the washing of tables used in cheesemaking. The object of the invention is to automate the washing of the tables in order to increase the efficiency of this operation and reduce the time required. The device according to the invention is characterised in that it consists of a carriage able to move along the table 12 on tracks 16, 16' provided along the edges of this table and comprising at least one spraying nozzle 84 positioned so as to spray the part or parts of the table needing washing, this nozzle being attached to a supply hose 90 which allows the carriage to move, and a hydraulic motor connected to the said supply hose and driving one of the wheels of the carriage. <IMAGE>
