The invention relates to a horizontal press used for pressing juicy substances. In this horizontal press constituted by a pressing cage 5 and by a pressure disk 7 displaceable with the main spindle 2 or with the cage and provided with closing rings 9, the pressure disk 7 is mounted in the cage 5, the said disk being equipped with traversing openings 8 which can be opened or closed using the rings 9 or adjusted according to requirements.
