In a semi-automatic filling installation for the simultaneous filling of a plurality of containers, the filling nozzles are slowly raised during the filling operation, a filling head, carrying the filling nozzles, being adjustably coupled to the movement of the metering pistons for this purpose. At the same time, continuously variable stroke adjustment for the working piston of a control cylinder is provided, the stroke of the metering pistons being made to coincide with the particular filling quantity as a function of the container size. <IMAGE>
