With an apparatus for producing building blocks having an integrated layer of insulating foam, continuous building block production is to be made possible, the layer of insulating foam being intended to connect two blocks into one building block. A depositing device deposits blocks onto a carrying belt. During this process, a space for the insulating foam forms between two blocks. A carrying belt, two side belts and a top belt form a foaming shaft for a mass of insulating foam to be introduced.
