The invention relates to a method for controlling the air conditioning of a motor vehicle. In order to operate the components of the air conditioning system, such as for example the air mixture controller, evaporator and the blower in an effective and satisfactory manner and as a result to achieve a comfortable control of the air temperature with reduced energy consumption, it is proposed according to the invention that the setting of an air mixture controller (3), the evaporator temperature and the amount of air flow shall be controlled in accordance with a temperature control value which is calculated from various temperature calculation data, the amount of air flow being initially reduced in cooling mode in accordance with the decrease in the cooling requirement, whilst in heating mode the amount of air flow is initially reduced in accordance with the decrease during the reduction in the heating requirement. <IMAGE> |
