The installation serves to utilise waste gas heat from heating installations. The waste gases are conducted through the interior of the double-walled container and modify the temperature of the liquid situated in the volume of the container and the heat exchanger also situated therein, which is connected to the forward run of the heating system. In this manner, the additionally obtained heated liquid is supplied to the heating. It is also possible partially or wholly to cover the hot water requirement with this installation. As a result of the thus additionally obtained heated liquid, a saving is made which makes itself apparent both in the lower fuel consumption and in planned heating systems through the burner installations which can then be of smaller dimensions. The installation can be integrated or planned into existing and planned heating systems individually and independently of sizes and cross-sections in vertical and also in other positions. <IMAGE>
