PURPOSE:To provide an arrangement for a suction control valve of an internal- combustion engine, in which the valve can rotate freely in the event of biting- in of any foreign object, by fixing a worm wheel at an end of the stem of the suction control valve and by furnishing a worm, to mesh with said worm wheel, at one end of a drive shaft of motor, whose other end is equipped with a hand- operating knob. CONSTITUTION:During low-load operation, a suction shut-off valve 29 furnished in the resting side suction passage is closed and, at the same time, the mode is switched from the all-cylinder operation to partial operation by stopping the fuel injection valve for each cylinder to be at a standstill. In such a divided operation control type internal combustion engine, the stem 30 of the suction shut-off valve 29 is supported by the housing rotatably. One end of valve stem 30, which is protruding from the housing 100, shall extend in the housing 101 of a driver device and equipped with a worm wheel 35. A worm 34 mounted on a drive shaf of a motor 33 shall mesh with this worm wheel 35, and a hand-operating knob 122 is mounted on the other end of the drive shaft so as to rotate the suction shut-off valve 29 freely by manipulating this knob 122. |
