PURPOSE:To make the whole system compact and attenuate the gas flow velocity at a gas back-flow by a method wherein a cylindrical filter made of sintered alloy having continuous gas pores is arranged at the direction through which the gas passes a wall body of the filter. CONSTITUTION:A filter unit 7 is detachably attached by screwing an outlet side case 4a into a nearly cylindrical filter case 29, a gas passage is formed of the inner parts of an outlet valve 6a and the filter case 29, a cylindrical filter 30 having continuous gas pores is provided on the outside of the filter case 29 so as to cover a gas passage hole 32 bored on the filter case 29. The filter 30 is preferably to be made of sintered alloy having heat resistance and shock resistance. When a gas back-fire occurs, a shock wave initially pushes up a stopper 21 inside of a valve retaining body 19, then the retaining condition of the outlet valve 6a is released, therefore, an outlet hole 12a is closed tightly. Even a flame enters into a device 3 before the outlet hole 12a is closed, the flame is diffused and extinguishes due to the existence of the filters 30, 31, while a very small amount of carbon contained in the flame is removed. |
