PURPOSE:To protect strain gages from water and moisture without adverse effect on the load-strain characteristics of a stain yielding body, by coating the strain gages stuck to the flexible parts of the strain yielding body by an aluminum evaporated film. CONSTITUTION:A strain yielding body 2 is formed in a hollow square shape by rigid bodies 3 and 4, which are fixed to the main body of a scale or a measuring pan, and beam parts 5 and 6 through a bracket. At the beam parts 5 and 6, flexible parts 5b and 6b, whose thicknesses are made thin by semicircular cut out parts 5a and 6a. Strain gages 7 are stuck to the surfaces of the flexible parts. On sticking surfaces 5' and 6' of the strain gages 7 at the beam parts 5 and 6, aluminum evaporating film 8 is stuck so as to cover the strain gages 7. |
