PURPOSE:To enhance the interstage efficiency of a turbine interstage structure having blade lattices of several stationary vanes and rotor blades, by setting the ratio of the chord length of the stationary vane and the axial space between the stationary vane latice and the rotor blade lattice, and the ratio of the number of the stationary vanes and that of the rotor vanes within specific ranges, respectively. CONSTITUTION:In an interstage structure of an axial-flow turbine in which rotor blades 2 are fixed to the outer periphery of a rotatable disc 3 downstream of stationary vanes 1 each secured at both ends thereof to inner and outer walls 4, 5, the ratio of CN and DELTAZ where CN is the chord length of the stationary vane and DELTAZ is the axial space between both blade latices of stationary vanes 1 and rotor blades 2, is set to in a specific range, that is, 0.25Z/CN<1.0. Further, the ratio of NS and NB where NS and NB are the numbers of the vanes 1 and the blades 2, respectively, is set in a ragnge, that is, 0.5<NS/NB< 2.0. Further, the ratio of DELTAZ and H where H is the span of the balde 2, is set in a range, that is 0.09<Z<2.0. With this arrangement, there may be reduced additional losses induced by periodical flow variations, in the interstage structure, caused by relative movement between the vanes 1 and the blades 2. |
