PURPOSE:To smoothly further stably recirculate lubricating oil and prevent a trouble caused by a lack of cooling in a thrust bearing device, by providing an oil guide comprising a porous plate and forming a stable level of oil at rotation so as to prevent generation of bubbles in the lubricating oil. CONSTITUTION:An oil guide 14 fixed onto the upper face of a bearing retainer 5 through a supporting member 16 by a suitable connecting means divides a space 10 in an oil tank into concentric spaces in the radial direction. The oil guide 14 is constituted such that a cylindrical main unit 15 formed by a porous plate such as a wire net or a hole punched plate is connected to the ring shaped supporting member 16. Even if a thin layer of lubricating oil in the internal spaced part of the oil guide 14 is turbulently stirred to be violently shaken generating a splash by the rotation of a thrust block 1, the surface layer of oil, being prevented or moderated by the oil guide 14, is kept in a relatively calm condition, thus scarcely generating a bubble. |
