An electro-magnetic valve (1) in the pipe between the petrol tank (3) and the carburettor (4) is energised from the ignition switch (2) through a fuse device (F1, F2). The ignition switch (2) is earthed through a conductor (6) to blow the fuse (F1) when a single-pole switch (SW1) is closed and the ignition switch is operated. The valve (1) and the fuse device (F1, F2) are installed in a case (11) at a hidden place in the car body and the switch (SW1) is accessible to the driver. <IMAGE>
