PURPOSE:To enhance accuracy in analysis, by inserting a specified amount of one element of objective elements in a blind hole, which is provided in a cut piece, covering the hole with cut powder, which is yielded at the time the hole is provided, mounting a sample in a recess in a water cooled copper surface table, and dissolving the sample by an arc in an inactive gaseous atmosphere. CONSTITUTION:Matrix iron 1 is molded in a rod shape, and cut into the size so that the cut piece can be inputted in a dissolving furnace. A blind hole 3 is provided at the central part of the cut iece 2. A specified amount of one element 4 of ojbective elements is put in the hole 3. The hole is covered by cut powder 5, which is yielded when the hole is provided. The sample, in which the element 4 is put in the hole 3, is placed in the recess in a water cooled copper surface table. The sample is dissolved by arc in an inactive gaseous atmosphere such as Ar gas. Light is emitted from the dissolved sample, and the intensity of the spectrum is measured. |
