<p>A method for treating waste paper in which the waste paper is steeped whilst being constantly moved and re-arranged, and is put into intermediate storage directly after the steeping operation in order to swell. Measured quantities of waste paper and water are fed to a rotatable steeping vessel (12) and after storage in a bunker (40), the material is transferred to a mixer (52) and then to a drum sorter (72). <IMAGE></p> |
