<p>A copper pyrophosphate electroplating bath contains a known heterocyclic additive in conjunction with an auxiliary brightener selected from iminodiacetic acid, cinammic acid, aliphatic acid, di- and poly- carboxylic acids having at least seven carbon atoms, salts of the aforesaid acids and hydroxyethylcellulose. The auxiliary brightener prevents step plating which is normally caused by the presence of the heterocyclic brightener.</p> |
