PURPOSE:To provide a clip formed by uniting left and right divided bodies and provided with a spherical cavity continuously opened from the upper portion to one side and with a leg portion fitted in a fitting hole of a panel which can reliably retain a support rod having a sphere at the end portion of a bar body and turn down and erect the rod. CONSTITUTION:A sphere 11a mounted at the end portion of a support rod 11 is previously held at concave portions 7a, 7b, and left and right divided bodies 1a, 1b are united. In such a condition, half holding portions 3a, 3b are automatically locked with each other by engagement of engaging fingers 9a, 9b, so that the sphere 11a mounted at the end portion of the rod 11 can be held in a cavity 7 securely. Subsequently, when a leg portion 4 is engaged with a fitting hole 13 of a body panel 12, the edge portion of the fitting hole 13 is held by a flange portion 8 and shoulder portions 10a, 10b to fix a clip 1 itself to a panel 12, thereby fixing the rod 11 itself to the panel 12. With side openings 6 connected through an upper opening 5 and a narrow portion, the support rod 11 can be turned down and erected easily only by moving the support rod 11 to both openings 5, 6. |
