PURPOSE:To readily obtain a power source for a low voltage auxiliary device by providing another auxiliary winding in addition to a stator winding in the groove of a stator core of a synchronous machine. CONSTITUTION:Auxiliary windings 6-1 and 6'-7 of phase U form the coils of the same turns, and auxiliary windings 6-2 and 6'-8 form the coils of the same turns. Auxiliary windings 6-3, 6-4 of phase V and auxiliary windings 6-5, 6-6 of phase W similarly form coils of the same turns. Since the auxiliary windings 6-2 and 6- 3, 6-4 and 6-5, and 6-6 and 6-7 are respectively different phase therebetween, insulators for obtaining insulating distance are respectively inserted to the coil ends. When the auxiliary windings are thus wound in 2-layer windings, an auxiliary power source can be obtained upon common exciting to a synchronous machine of the normal design. |
