PURPOSE:To improve the cutting toughness of a motor shaft by forming by swaging plasticizing method the thick part of the end of a blade formed of a steel plate for holding an armature laminated core. CONSTITUTION:The end of an arm 6 is crushed by plasticizing in an integral structure so that D/t may become 1.2-2. After a dovetail key 5 is mechanically formed to mount a core on the arm 6, it is welded to a shaft 1. In this manner, the strength of the dovetail key can be enhanced.
