A new galenic form of METOCLOPRAMIDE with delayed release of METO PRAMIDE is provided herein. Such novel galenic form is preferably provided by microgranules comprising a neutral core formed by a grain of an inert excipient comprising at lest two of the following components, namely, saccharose starch, talc, dessicating silica, lactose and stearic acid, this neutral grain being provided with a first layer comprising METOCLOPRAMIDE. Then a second outer layer is formed by a microporous envelope comprising at least one neutral or synthetic polymer from the following, namely, shellac, gum arabic, ethyl cellulose, cellulose acetophthalate, cellulose triacetate, polyoxyethyleneglycol, the methacrylates, styrene-acrylonitrile copolymers or polyvinylpyrrolidone, in successive envelopes. New useful medicaments for the treatment of gastric troubles are thus provided. |
