PURPOSE:To suppress the ripple of an energizing current by controlling the energizing period of a semiconductor element in response to the pulsation of an input power source. CONSTITUTION:An energization width control circuit 9 has a triangualr wave generator 11, a comparator 12, a combining circuit 14, a pulsating voltage detector 16 and an adder 18. The reference voltage of the comparator 12 is produced by superposing the pulsating component of the DC voltage with a control voltage. Accordingly, the output voltage of the comparator 12 or the output voltage of the circuit 14 is narrow in waveform when the DC voltage is high and becomes a wide pulse train when the DC voltage is low. The semiconductor element groups of the inverter device can be controlled ON or OFF by the pulse train. |
