PURPOSE:To fix a structure for icy sea by a method in which a slope to break ice plates is provided on the peripheral side of a structure body of a flat form, and an ice piece placing portion is provided connectedly on the upper end of the slope to place ice pieces on the structure body. CONSTITUTION:A bottom-landing type marine structure 1 is installed on the seabed 15 and fixed with as kirt 9 or piles as needed. When ice plate C is formed, moved toward the direction of arrow F by wind, etc., and comes into contact with the slope 5 of the structural body 2 in the winter season, the ice plate C is broken into ice pieces C' and stacked up with flowing ice on the ice pieces placing portion 6 of the body 2. Since the structural body 2 is pressed down to the seabed 15 by the weight of the ice pieces C', the sidewise movement of the structure 1 by the ice force F can thus be prevented. |
