<p>A transformer wherein an insulator interposed between respective primary and secondary coils comprises a corrugated insulating base having a width larger than the coil winding width, that is, the width of the winding part of coil bobbin and a plastic insulating member having substantially the same width as the coil winding width. When such insulator is wound on the primary coil, the corrugated insulating base is bent at both side edges to be L-shaped to intimately fit to the inner surfaces of flanges of the coil bobbin so as to positively prevent coil wire at each end portion of the coil from dropping out of the alignment of respective coil turns.</p> |
