PURPOSE:To increase the electromagnetic withstand force of the end of an armature coil by retaining the both side faces of the coil by springs in the vicinity of the outlet of the slot of the coil. CONSTITUTION:The size of the width of a slot in the vicinity of the end 1 of a core is formed to be wider from the outlet end over the length l0. After the coil is inserted, springs are mounted in the spaces at both sides of the coil, and the side face of the coil is suppressed by the depression of the springs 4. Thus, even if an abnormal electromagnetic force is generated at the end of the coil at the short-cicuiting time, the coil gradually displaces over the length l0. Accordingly, the bending stess is not applied concentrically only to the end 3 of the outlet, thereby alleviating the stress. |
