<p>A system for making longitudinal embroidery on circular woven fabric has some of the needles distributed around the cylinder carrying a heel radially shorter and a tail longer than the remainder. Some of the embroidery sets, distributed around the frame between the weaving sets, carry a lifting arm which actuates only the tails of the short heel needles and a falling arm which actuates only the long heels. The short heel needles are associated with means of feeding additional threads.</p> |
